Hello my name is William and I had RNY Gastric Bypass on April 5, 2012. Starting weight: 382 lbs, Goal Weight: 230 lbs, Lowest Weight: 196 lbs and my Current Weight: 200 lbs. I went from a size 56 waist to a 34 waist. I also had a lot of medical issues like diabetes and high blood pressure, but since surgery all of them are gone and I’m on no medications. I’m the happiest I have ever been in my life and I’m positive that my weight loss surgery saved my life.

Yes, you can do this! Get back to basics. Realize that it is all about balance. A bad meal or snack isn't going to hurt you if you have it every once in a while. The danger comes from partaking in these things often. Exercise is great, but not the most important thing. However, it does allow you to be successful with a higher calorie intake.
Good luck to you. I definitely feel your struggle.

I work a serious amount of hours but have that same feeling at times..I had surgery on November 6...rny.. trying to get rid of diabetes and dealing with a tremendous amount of back pain..but im dealing...

74 pounds is a substantial amount, so try to not be discouraged. You're doing fantastic and looking good. I bet you're wearing smaller clothes than you were this time last year, and that this time next year they'll be even smaller.

I'm in the same situation almost exactly! 40 day of surgery and 64 from pre op. I tell you its hard. I expected to lose more weight but grateful of what has came off so far. Not one to exercise. But starting today!! Keep up the good work![emoji106]
