I had issues within 2 years port pain nerve pain upy neck severe reflux. 11/22/16 this awesome Dr.down here in San Antonio took my band out and sleeved me all at the same time. I am 3 months out and I have lost 75 pounds. Your pain isn't bad at all and you will feel awesome

Is it only happening when you are up walking or are you do something when it hurts? If it feels like muscle pains like you did 300 situps. It is probably just your muscles healing back that they cut thru. That's my opinion at least

Hi just was curious about a few things that I have been going on since surgery. One thing after surgery it was all great till I lost like 45 pounds. Then all of the sudden I got stasis dermatitis on my legs. Then my urine looks green like every few weeks but they say my kidneys blood work is great. Does anyone else have anything weird going on. As of today I am 79.6 pounds down. Hope nothing elese pops up.

My weight loss journey started in 2010 when I weighed 386 pounds. I became stagnant and didn't lose any weight for several years after I lost the initial 100 pounds.

I got the sleeve in June of 2016 and it saved my life.

Learning how to eat again has been fiffucult. Learning how to eat around my food addiction has been especially difficult.

But im happier than I've ever been and I'm going to run a 5k next month!

48 pounds is awesome!! I hit plateaus they last 2 weeks plus sometimes. I just kick up my exercise and a couple days later it starts falling off again. You are doing great don't let it get u down.

I'm officially post-op! I'm writing this at the end of my first day in hospital. It's been a day full of frustrating gas pain, moderate nausea, and some incision pain, but meds help with that. (I opt out of nausea meds because it only lasts five minutes at a time.)

That being said, I have not experienced the so-called "Sleever's Regret" — not once! In fact, I'm actually planning my vsg anniversary trip to Disneyland in 2018!

I hope I can pass gas tomorrow because it hurts something AWFUL! Other than that, I'm still very happy with my decision and look forward to all the new adventures.

It will get better. My Dr. Said 64oz a day I was lucky to get 40oz literally you have to sip every 5 to 10 minutes. I am 12 weeks post op as of today and 75.6 pounds down and 16 inches. I drink 80oz a day now. It will get easier and your energy will be awesome

I also slept on my opposite side of the port till the pains stopped. I couldn't sleep on my port side or my back. Now I sleep on both sides and my stomach even.just give it time.

I am on my 3rd plateau. I am only 12 weeks out. Is there anyone elese hitting plateaus every 3 to 4 weeks?

I had the same pain when I had my band. I could always feel the discomfort where the port was exspcially at night. I feel a 100 times better since my revision. I am 10.5 weeks post op. I felt the same pain discomfort till about week 5ish. Then one day I just noticed it was gone. Completely pain free in all surgical areas now. Good luck it should feel better soon
