It's not to lose weight, its to shrink the liver so its easier for the surgeon to get to the stomach.

Have you been told that you have to lose 10llb a short time before surgery?

My cousin only lost 1.5 kg where as I have lost 8
It is individual and she is doing so well after op so chin up

No I wasn't told I had to lose weight I just figured that eating this way would naturally have me drop as its significantly lower cal than I have been eating for past several months
