February 19, 20179 yr It's not to lose weight, its to shrink the liver so its easier for the surgeon to get to the stomach. Have you been told that you have to lose 10llb a short time before surgery? Kate

Kate No I wasn't told I had to lose weight I just figured that eating this way would naturally have me drop as its significantly lower cal than I have been eating for past several months
