You look great! I'm at 3.5 months and 60 lbs. Since surgery and 115 lbs since my highest weight. It's truly an amazing tool that we have been given. Keep up the great work honey!!

Taylor, more than anything honey, LOVE YOURSELF! If this was an issue before, clinically speaking, that self loathing is so probably worse and so very destructive. You look beautiful and regardless of what people say, you need to have the "I don't care" mentality! No one has had a lot to say (to my face) anything negative. But you know what? I don't care! You know why? Because I'm doing me for a change! It's been 2 weeks since surgery (4/18) and my weight loss has gone from 1 # a day to fighting to get 10 in the last 14 days. Hang in there. I think. I'm dealing with the stall! And yes, it's so frustrating! You've got a support system here and we're not going anywhere!

Ok, so all that test includes are the same questions just asked in a different manner. You will identify the "crazy" questions. Mine asked me about my religious beliefs, my spirituality, which I thought was interesting. The only one I was questioned on was when it asked me if I felt like I was a failure to my children. I answered yes and she wanted to know why. I expressed that I was injured when my son was 11 and it took years to overcome that injury. I lost time with him and in that I felt like a failure. I guess she was worried I was depressed. I honestly think that every parent feels like they've failed their children at some point.

I have my last appointment on my checklist next thursday! Its psych testing. Does anyone know what this all involves?? If all goes well, they will submit my paperwork to insurance!!! Fingers crossed!!

I had bypass 4/13. Surgery started at 7:30, finished up right before 10:30. Has pain is bad but not unbearable. I have a PCA pump that has dilaudid in it. I have been up and walking a few times already. In 4 hours I will get something to drink! Yay!! So far so good!

It's really pissing me off because I got cleared by both dietician and bariatrician, I just needed the ok from the psychologist. Ever since I started the program I haven't gained a pound and have lost every visit. I've increased my activity by a great deal yet, it feels like she makes it seem as if it's no effort. I exercise for 45mins and I'm very independent, so I clean, cook, etc. while standing. Anyways she's saying that ppl who get the surgery are encouraged to exercise up to 2hrs and 1/2....Has anyone else been told this?

You look amazing! Congratulations! I'm just starting my journey. Four days into my 90 days. I'm super excited! I made the decision Sunday night that I was going with the gastric bypass. I'm working on my transition and it's going well! I've cut out sweet tea (I'm from the south) and any cokes. Limited headaches (only one) and it's just a choice now. I can't wait until I'm at 9 mo out! I want to see my new self! Congrats again! You're beautiful!

Hey everybody. My name is Delores or @neenee. I go for my initial consultation on Monday the 9th. I'm super excited to start this journey! I was told about this forum last night at a car dealership of all places! He's the one who geared me toward sleeve.
