    During that phase I ate a lot of refried Beans and soft scrambled eggs. I also made the ricotta bake and added grated zucchini that I squeezed the Water out of.

    For coffee, have you tried Fairlife milk? It has a bit of sugar, but not a whole lot, and it's enriched with Protein. There's a regular and a chocolate, and each is a decent calorie/protein breakdown!

    I'd like to try this. I hear people putting Protein in their coffee, but I can't get past that Protein Powder taste. It's not that great. I've done Protein Shakes for a long time and always manage to make it taste better with various veggies/fruits, etc....but not with coffee.

    Yup. First day after I was allowed to eat solids. Was watching a very 'nervy ' Arsenal game. Needless to say, the pain was a lasting reminder about paying attention while eating.

    If you are doing what your NUT said, but you are not getting the results you want, try something different.
    @JustMe40
    You don't have to exercise to lose weight. You just need to intake fewer calories than your body burns. My RMR is 1900 a day, that is how many calories I would burn a day if I laid in bed and didn't move all day, that is just the base level my body needs to function. Most people don't have to eat a huge daily deficit to intake less than they burn. Don't think that having MS and limited mobility will hold you back. You just have to work a little harder at controlling your food. That is why eat less than 25G of carbs a day, net carbs, you can subtract the Fiber, would really help someone like you. Good luck!

    BTW your weight loss so far is right on track. Good job.

    You will learn when you are full/ satisfied by eating slow, chewing food completely and waiting between bites. You will feel it..and if you go one bite too far, well, you will never want to make that mistake again. It is learning new habits..and an added surprise for me I am not feeling hungry. I set the alarm on my phone 4 times a day to remind me to go get Protein. So happy with that surprise

    I have been experimenting with different foods. I love dried Beans so I made a pot of pinto Beans with small pieces of diced ham. I can control sodium if I do it myself. I do not puréed them but do fork mash them. Love it and travels well to work. I also do soft scrambled egg, egg salad, chicken and tuna salad. Little hint, the thought of chicken or tuna puréed just turned me off...so I use a nut chopper, you know the one you use on a cutting board and push blade up and down. It chops eggs, tuna and chicken really fine. Then I add lite mayo, celery seed, a little pickle relish and enjoy. One more thing..with my beans I found I got that really uncomfortable pain in my chest..like I was going to toss my Cookies...well I measured out a cup of beans in a glass measuring cup..ate beans until I felt full..then I poured remaining beans back in measuring cup to see what my safe oz. are...I pored back a little less than 2 oz. so now I only take 2/3 cup of anything and have not been uncomfortable!

    I am excited about beginning puréed foods. I can begin on Monday. I have thought of Beans and cheese, plus scrambled or soft boiled eggs. I am working on myself about the look of puréed foods and I think it is going to be difficult. Oh yeah..chicken and tuna sales I think I can make tolerable. I try and keep myself in the mode of thinking "This is all part of your new story and it is one more chapter, short in length when I think of the rest of my life"

    I jump into purees tomorrow and I'm so exciting to eat something besides Soup and shakes! One suggestion I read that didn't completely turn my stomach was blended chili...anything else appetizing that people are eating in this stage? Fish in a blender = no thank you.
