I think your best advice will come from your doc. Good luck, and praying all is ok

How much fluids are you getting in? Protein?

2 days out
Yup, it's normal. I was done last week and right after surgery was up 4 pounds. Happy to say I'm down 14 now. It will go quick, just walk , and get your sips and Protein in. Good luck!

Two days post-op
Texas, (and all post sleevers) I have been drinking a protein water called Trimino. It has 7 grams of protein and helps keep me on the protein target along with the Protein Shakes.. You can find it on amazon. Just an FYI for another option

can you have seltzer water on pre op diet?
I was told no. The longer you can go without, the easier it will be down the road too. Good luck, you got this!

Liquid diet
10 lbs in 7 days liquid on last 3 for me

Any suggestions on the CLEAR PROTEIN drinks?
Shilo, Walmart has a ton of different Water additives really cheap. Try a few before surgery to find what you like. Also, 0 sugars, 0calories, 0 carbs etc

Must follow everything to a "T" or I'm gaining weight
It is very hard, but remember we all decided to take the journey, and none of us are the exact same so will take different paths and times to get to where we want to be. Sit back and enjoy the ride, but remember the most important thing is to keep yourself moving forward along the path!

- Pasta
Pasta and bread were tough to give up for me too. I worked hard several months pre surgery to do it so I hopefully won't have to deal with the craving now, I found great alternatives- spiralizer to make vegetable pasta, you can even google cauliflower pizza crust or bread. Hopefully my taste haven't changed since surgery (1week ago today! [emoji1])- Atlanta,ga?
Love the Fitbit! Trying to get a group together for weekly challenges- Fitbit buddies?
Add me too please vban@charter.net- Finally in One-Derland
Congratulations!- I just broke down...
Are you pre or post op?- Excited For A Future When Full Body Pics Are Fun
I know what both of you mean! I have felt and done the same thing! I wouldn't even put a picture on my LinkedIn or other SM profiles. I look forward to the before and after pics and the profile pics!- You blink and it's here
When's the date? Good luck, and look forward to seeing you on the losers side!- Two days post-op
Absolutely! This seems to be the toughest part right now! I made some broth yesterday and the salt gave me a wicked craving for Doritos! I actually thought about just licking one just for the taste, but walked it off. I can't imagine two more weeks of this before I can start soft foods!- Two days post-op
Hi Tex! Sounds like your doing great! I am one week post tomorrow. Very little pain after surgery, stopped taking pain meds on day 2. Doing ALOT of walking (10,000steps per day). ..we got this! - Pasta
