  1. I’m a year and a three months out of gastric sleeve surgery. I have excess skin on my stomach, arms, and thighs. My doctor told me if I get to my goal I can get it removed but I’ve been so unmotivated because of the excess skin. I feel like I put all this work into losing and now I still look terrible. I know this journey is for our health but I can’t even focus on that. I’ve been eating way too much because I can’t find the motivation to refocus when I know I still look bad on the outside. Anyone else feel like this? What did you do?
  2. I had my surgery last December with exact stats as you except I am 22. No loose skin and I lost 65 lbs. I’m not at goal yet due to other circumstances but I lost a majority of my weight fast and still didn’t have loose skin.
  3. I will be 9 months post op from the sleeve on September 16th and I've officially lost 60 lbs. I started at 239.7 and am now at 179.7. It's a struggle every day but slowly but surely I will get to my goal. I'm hoping for a goal of 145lbs but for now my mini-goal is 174 (doctor's goal).
  4. 6 1/2 months out. Lost 52 lbs so far. The left is my highest weight at 239 and the right is currently at 188 lbs.

  6. Insulin resistance levels have been high since I was 14. Now 3 months Post op and 22 years old, they are in the normal range and I lost 43 lbs
  7. I was 3 months post op on the 16th and I just started noticing that it's been really hard to stay around 800-900 calories which was very easy to do before. This past week I've been around 1,000-1,100 calories. I work out 30 minutes 3 times a week so it's not so much where it should be making me hungry. Has anyone experienced this increase in hunger? I've been around 60g of protein a day.
  8. Sleeved 12/16/16 and down 42.5 lbs and in my second stall
  9. HW: 239.7 December 2, 2016 SW: 229.7 December 16, 2016 CW: 197.7 February 27, 2017 I am about 10 1/2 Weeks Post op. 40 lbs total weight loss! What an incredible journey. Still going strong.

  12. I just had a two week stall myself. Got on the scale today and it finally moved. I've been trying different things to make it more and yesterday I had a full shake (I haven't been able to drink a full shake because I've been totally disgusted with them). Try more Protein.
