That's how I look at it. I've been dealing with self esteem and health issues for years. I can do a two week liquid diet along with surgery! It's all a mental game.

I started my pre op diet on the 2nd and I have a number of posts on this forum complaining about it. Everyone keeps saying just stick with it and the outcome is worth it

Thanks everyone. I'm really sticking to this pre op diet but only because I know there's light at the end of tunnel. Your stories are motivating.

I just finished day 4 of my two week pre op diet and I've been reading a lot of posts on here to motivate myself to stick with it. The most unimaginable thing I keep reading is that people actually aren't hungry after the sleeve. Did anyone feel this way? What did you do to keep yourself from not going crazy? I would eat just about anything at this point and I'm super picky. This diet is taking a toll.

This liquid diet is making me feel like I have the flu in the way of body aches and tiredness. I'm following it exactly how my doctor said I should but it sucks

Premier Protein is the best tasting by far. They come in pre-measured bottles and you can get a good deal on them at costco for $25. They come in chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, caramel, and banana.

I just started my pre-op diet today. I knew I would get migraines during this diet because I'm addicted to caffeine and I wasn't going to drink it. However, I feel generally weak and a little "out of it." It's an unaware feeling, kinda drowsy. Any way to fix this? Anyone else experience this? I drank all my Protein for today.
