Woo hoo I had my sleeve today and doing great [emoji2][emoji2][emoji2] been up walking the nurses station non stop. There was excruciating gas pain for the first few hours after surgery but now it's like a dull pain in my chest, neck and shoulder, been burping too which they said helps with the pain(seems too) no actual gas from the other end!!!!

I'd say one of two things:
"Why wouldn't I do it if it's easy?" or "Wow, that's rude"
People who would ask a question like that don't deserve your time or consideration.

I will not let anyone tell me or let me down because they have not walked a step in my shoes

For anyone who is having issues getting in all their liquids, I use 1 ounce medicine cups. Every hour I fill up four of them with whatever Fluid I'm drinking and drink one cup every 15 minutes. I start at 8am to either 9pm or 10pm. I hope this helps

I feel you and im 7 days post op as of today , and being the momma of a toddler who loves to war doesn't make it better..and I live in a house full of 6 other people who eat...and cook and it's just straight torture...the only thing saving me is my loss of hunger sensations and incentives I had gotten the sleeve. Imean not a food addict. It when I do eat I want it to count lol and I I eat out of boredom and being here addicts the house with not anything to do is making me really bored Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App

I use 4 10z medicine cups and drink one every 14 minutes...if you start at 8am you should get 64oz in by 10pm

Unfortunately, I was wrong . I am borderline BMI requirements and have to have an additional comorbidity to qualify. I'm currently waiting for my sleep study results which will make or break this journey for me..

I just had my vsg yesterday morning! I am 21 years old and I'm also looking for some journey buddies !

So they didn't take any of my piercings out, although the u had all plastics in and we're truthful about their placements even my tongue, I still awoke with all my piercings intact ????

I let them know that I only asked for their support and not their criticism nor opinions on a choice I've made for myself and that will not affect them in the slightest and frankly it's none of their business????

I'm having the same trouble with family members putting me down calling me fat ass, everytime there is two spoonfuls of ice-cream left they accuse me of eating it all. It's a constant pressure for me to keep my head together and try to get through all the prerequisites I need to for this surgery I've noticed as I get closer to my final class in March the more of a recluse I become. But no one is going to take my joy away from me getting this tool to help me lose weight. Good luck, don't let anyone get you down.
