  1. @@redheadjo you are a courageous woman!!! Your doing what you feel is best for you and your family (in my opinion) healthier you = Better mother and wife. When my mom had her surgery done we all worried but I knew it would make her feel better and it did. Now 13 years later she's able to go bike riding with her grandkids out walking hiking and camping with us. She would never have been able to do that before she was out of breath just walking up the steps. Keep your faith and keep pushing! You GOT THIS!!!! I wish you the BEST! and I'll keep you in my prayers : )
  2. Congratulations @dknal2 I'm so happy for you!!!
  3. @ littlebill your too funny!!! Oh and I have to try the little spoon thing : ) I also think I''ll put my food on a smaller plate just to see if it helps me mentally. Great post!

  14. Time waits for no one.... I'm 35 with 2 kids and I was going to get this surgery done years ago but I allowed people to talk me out of it! I totally regret that now years later I'm still over weight and larger then I was before... Listen... Come closer... Do What's BEST FOR YOU!!!! Your husband is not living in your skin and we only have one LIFE! Do what make you happy plus it will give you a better quality of life. I know you want to respect your husband and family's feeling or concerns... blah blah blah but do they care about you??? I had a scare with high blood pressure in September and my cousin was found dead in October no health issues she smoked used diet pills besides that she was fine. That pushed me to call my surgeon and get the ball rolling! She was 36 and has a 10 year old daughter... Life is to short we have to do what we feel is best, you know your body and how you feel. Make a way and make it happen!
