  2. what in the world is a swiss chard????
  3. Oooh - be prepared for the port pain to last for at least a week to two weeks. Mine lasted for about a week and a half. I couldn't sleep on my port side for 2 weeks and I walked around with my hand over my port location for 2 weeks and rubbing it seemed to help. Now (almost 3 weeks since surgery) port pain is all gone!
  4. After 3 days of no poop I introduced myself to MOM (milk of magnesia). It became my new best friend (and worst enemy).

  7. I had my surgery almost 3 weeks ago and i did experience the same pain for about a week and a half after surgery. The pain was at first from everything...gas, incisions, etc - then just mostly port pain after about a week. Now - I'm pain free! Yeahhhhh. It will go away and you will be counting down the days until your first fill.
  8. Hi! We sound similar - I was a self-pay and did it because I didn't want to wait and see if insurance "might" cover me. Everything was fantastic (I was banded about 3 weeks ago) and I am so happy with my decision. I've been blogging everything and you can check it out via the link below in my signature.
