  1. Congrats! I was just banded on the 4th of March and am doing very well. I started a blog (Lise The Loser’s Weblog) to document every step of the process! How are you doing with the liquid and mushy stages? Are you still having any port pain? Best of luck with EVERYTHING - I know you will do fabulously!
  2. I've found alternatives to sweets like my slimfast-a-chinos (see recipe in my blog) and sugarfree hot cocoa. Plus, freezing sugarfree yogurt and eating it like icecream. it's worked just fine for me!
  3. I had my surgery this past tuesday and returned to work monday...so about 6 days. it was perfect timing.

Not too wild and crazy (except for some of our clients)! I'm hoping I can work a full day. A bit nervous about driving ... pressure of the seatbelt, etc. :smile2:
  13. I adore Jason C. My favorite was the Daydream song he sang on the first show...I downloaded it from iTunes. What a fantastic voice!!!

  24. wow. stories like yours make me wonder how any of us will be able to go for more than 10 years without some sort of problem with our ports...ugh. it's like one bad cold/flu and the risk of the port flipping goes up so much higher. i wonder how they will fix this in years to come as they get more advanced with the surgery.
  25. Ahhh - very interesting. I'm going to try the pillow technique. Thank you for your response!
