Genepro Safe???
What would you suggest for unflavored protein powder for newly sleeved people imstead of Genepro? Im getting sleeved on Friday and now have no problem with Premier, but worried because so many people say their tastes have changed. I like being prepared.

Liquids
Our bodies have enough calories stored. If youre only allowed liquids, you can try Fairlife milk to add calories, it also has a good amount of protein. What about some broth. If you want something other than liquids, eat sf popsicles, at least its not just liquid, but is considered fluids.

Flights from Florida to San Diego
A layover is just a stop at another airport, sometimes you may have a 2hr wait until your next flight leaves. Really not a big deal, pretty common for flights to have layovers.

Before and After Photos
I started my journey at 242 im 5'6", doc gave me a printout that said I had 102 lbs of excess weight to lose He also said Id only lose about 60 lbs in the first year. Ideally he,said the sleeve would help me lose 60-70% of my excess weight. Im thinking the goal they gave you is losing 60% of your excess weight. My surgeon never gave me a goal weight and when he asked me my goal, I truly had no idea as I havent been under 200 in over 25 years, so I have no idea how ill look at what weight.

Hot Cheetos! What did I do?!!
I kmow where you are coming from. In the last week I think I have ate every sub, pizza, and favorite food I have as my surgery is next Friday. Some may say Im not ready, but I am. I kust know in 5 days I will not be eating even a bite of some of these foods for years, so Im getting them all in now. Not to say Im gorging on th, but just having a piece or bite of all my favorites. Only you know if you are ready. I would just say be careful if you need to lose a certain amount before surgery, many of our old favorites are really bad for us.

You can drink it room temperature also, just tastes like warm flavored milk. Definitely better cold, but if your body cant handle it cold, deink it at room temp. Its all about getting in your protein right now
