Vitamins

Help! I'm having surgery on Tuesday the 28th and I need to know what kind & what form of supplements to buy. Liquid, chewable, tablets?

My pre op is on Monday and I'm sure my dr will tell me then but I would like to get them this weekend.

I'm so exited the day is almost here!

Thanks!!

My practice suggested Flintstones Children chewables with iron. They did stress absolutely no gummy vitamins.

Your stomach won't be able to absorb B12 anymore, so you'll need to get it either by liquid (sublingual), monthly injections, patches, or vaping. I'm experimenting with vaping and can't tell yet if it feels more effective than sublingual. Also be sure to get petite calcium pills.
