    Update on OCt sleevers.....

Yeah I got to finally eat something. All my plans went out the window. I tried hummas and avocado. Went down well. No nausea. Wahoo#! Don't want to overdo so I did a tablespoon at a time an hour apart. I still have pain in the left side the doc said it still is gas from surgery. Walking and moving around would help get it out. Has anyone cheated ?

I was also allowed fit lite Greek yogurt no fruit during both my pre-op and post-op full liquid stages. I don't consider that cheating. Keep up the good work. You will get past this stage. Today is my first day on my pureed stage. OMG food tasted so good. I have waited a month It was worth it!!! Sent from my LGLS996 using the BariatricPal App

    Update on OCt sleevers.....

I had surgery 10/12 and tomorrow I have my 2 wk visit and start my pureed stage. I have been doing well, very little nausea, Hardly any pain and going to the bathroom everyday. I am oh so looking forward to tasting food. I am having to crush my pills in applesauce. Yuck!!! I have already planned my meals for tomorrow!#! Lol I hope it goes well and I tolerated the texture of the pureed food. I'm thinking of trying refried Beans first and scrambled eggs. I have researched on several sites for ideas for the pureed stage. Pinterest has some really good recipes for sleevers. I am so excited. Sent from my LGLS996 using the BariatricPal App

Well I didn't get to finish my post. I am excited about my new journey but nervous about pureed food such as tuna and salmon. Anyone out there have any ideas on how to make that taste good so I don't throw it up. Sent from my LGLS996 using the BariatricPal App

    OMG IM STARVING.

You can do it. The first few days are difficult and it gets better. Make sure you drink plenty of Water to make yourself full. If you find yourself having to go to the bathroom room right after tell your surgeon. You may be sensitive to the lactose. Sent from my LGLS996 using the BariatricPal App

    Loved ones not supportive.

Maybe your husband is insecure and scared of change. Talk to him about why he is really against it? It's your body and health. No one has a right to tell you what to do but you. Sent from my LGLS996 using the BariatricPal App
  19. My surgery 10/12/16 slight pain from the gas in chest and shoulders. Went away from walking. Very little nausea and no complications. Don't worry you'll be fine Sent from my LGLS996 using the BariatricPal App

    Swelling and Fatigue

My surgery date was October 12th and I'm still a little swollen. You have to remember you just had major surgery and each person's reaction is different. Your body is adjusting to the changes. Give yourself a break. Rest is a good thing and your body needs to heal. Embrace it!! One day I can't sleep and the next I have to take a nap!! Crazy how that works. Sore body

I don't know what a keyhole is but, the gas will move into your neck and shoulders. If your leg is sore make sure it is the same size as your other leg. If so it's probably the walking. If you are concerned contact your surgeons office. They are there to answer any of your questions or concerns. Sent from my LGLS996 using the BariatricPal App
