Struggle

Hello all,

I had my surgery 10/18/16. Last night was my first night home and it was rough. Today has gone well. I'm managing the gas and I'm not using the pain meds as often as prescribed. My current struggle is getting down liquids. It's so difficult but I managed to get down 32 ounces today. I feel like I'm going to burst.

It will get better, your body is swollen right now. Try to take little sips all day. Day by day it will improve quickly. Feel better soon Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  • We have been there. Just keep plugging along, you will make it I promise.

  • I haven't been able to drink the 64oz of fluids required since I started my journey. My surgery was 10/12. I have done well getting the Protein. I figure as long as I am not dehydrated and keep trying

I haven't been able to drink the 64oz of fluids required since I started my journey. My surgery was 10/12. I have done well getting the Protein. I figure as long as I am not dehydrated and keep trying that's all I can do. Feel better soon. Congrats and good luck on your journey
