  1. @@y0lis Yes! The first few days of pre-op diet were rough for me. SO hungry, but it got easier and I now live off of sugar free popsicles LOL.
  2. @@dr3am3rstarz Yay! Yes! I'm originally from Pensacola! I'm getting pretty freaked out as the days get closer to the surgery... only two more to go How has your recovery been and the first week of post-op?
  3. I'm being sleeved on Dec. 7th (just a few days away!). I would love to have a buddy that is being sleeved around that time or has been sleeved recently that can help make the transition easier by having someone to chat with. I'm also open to having a mentor who has gone through it and can help me with some of the problems or questions I may have. I live in Minneapolis, Minn., right now. I work from home as well, which gets a bit lonely and I know going through this transition without having the distraction of work and co-workers sounds difficult Thanks everyone!

  7. @@sleeveisa I'm worried about that as well My liquid diet starts the DAY before Thanksgiving lol. I haven't really told too many people I'm considering the surgery either so I don't know how to navigate the 'why arent you eating/drinking' questions. Any advice? I'm also new to my area and work from home, so that helps with not having co-workers or too many friends to be nosey hahha.
  8. @@GypsySoul Yesss!!!! Let's stay in touch!!
  9. Hello everyone! I just got my surgery date, Dec. 7! I was hoping people could share one or two things they wish they knew before surgery. Maybe small things you won't necessarily hear from a doctor or nurse. Something maybe you brought with you to the hospital or the days after recovery that helped? Helped with energy or healing? Thanks so much! Ashley
