  1. :unsure:Good day all, I'm a new bander 2-27-08. Everything has been great but last night I tried to hack up the world's largest piece of mucus. Iread about the sliming and that wasn't it. I seriously had to stick my finger down my throat and hook the piece with my fashionably acrylic nail. It was about the size of a marble. Sorry for the graphic description guys. This is not the first time this has happened, the last time it took two days to cough it up. Is this just me or does this happen to other people? Thank you Don't Want To Choke In My Sleep
  2. The more weight I lose the shoter my hair!! If your hair gets really bad, buy a really great wig there are so many cute styles out there. My girlfried lost her hair to breast cancer and I was actually jealous of her and her wigs!! go figure.
  3. I'm in Houston also!! Okay, Katy. My Dr does not tighten or "fill" the band for 6wks. What are you eating now??
  4. Wow I'm surprised to hear that you are on any food!! All I'm on is Sugar Free Popcicles and Sugar Free Jello, Chicken and Beef Broth.
  5. I was banded on 02/27/08 and I'm feeling really great. Most of the gas is gone. I'm really nervous about dehydration and getting sick if I drink to much at one time so I take really small sips. Does any one have any advice on this.
  6. The five year old on your chest would be called gas. Move around so your body can absorb the gas and you can get it out. Mine settled around my shoulders and neck yesterday. I was banded on Wed, like you. Today I feel like I did a bunch of crunches. Just give it time and remember to move.
  7. I'm sorry to hear that you are feeling so awful. I was banded on the same day and feel great. Just give it time and do everything that you're suppposed to. Take the pain meds that's what they are there for.
