I run a,very prominent residential treatment center. I see many patients become compulsive with alcohol after surgery...seems to be common. pork chop express comment above is spot on.

    Daily Meals

Still trying to figure this out myself. Sleeved September 13th. Breakfast-hard boiled egg. Lunch -1.5 oz. Chicken, lettuce, 2 teaspoon salsa, snack- hard boiled egg. Dinner - chili 1/2 cup. Snack 8 oz protein drink. I just figured out through my Fitness Pal that this is only about 600 calories therefore I think I should be eating more I have lost a lot of weight but find myself scared to increase my food intake therefore I would consider myself struggling with trying to figure it out
  8. Thank you....285 to 231....I feel great. I learned that even with surgery it's still a game of mental gymnastics.

    Back Issues

Yes I have had significant back issues throughout the first month to month and a half of my surgery I think it is due to the fact that we have been cut through our abdominal wall and muscles I find that I frequently sit with a heating pad. Sleeved September 13th I have read that we have to be careful that we are not miss diagnosing the back pain as it is also a symptom of kidney stones so make sure you were getting your water intake
  10. In maryland...bells air area...sleeved September 13th...
  11. I weigh in about once all week however after reading some of the replies above I may move to once a month I am starting to come at peace with the idea that it will come off when it comes off I have lost significant amount of weight I am down 53 pounds since surgery September 13th however I know one of my downfalls will be freaking out when the scale and it will go out from time to time hang in there keep focused and always remember that you are 10 steps ahead of where you were prior to surgery
