  1. Good luck! I never gave in to it except a couple times I'd eat later in the evening than I should have because my head told me I was hungry. But never ate junk. We can do this I'm sure I haven't seen the last of my mind telling me to eat badly or when I'm not suppose to but I'm sure glad that it's over for now. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App First time I cooked my kids dinner since sugery and oh man the smell of the pizza crust was appealing. Nothing wrong witg enjoying smells. I'm having yummy onion and beef Soup pureed then added Water to make it thin) I've reminded myself that one day when I'm in the maintenance phase and not weightloss phase I can add some carbs to my diet. Just not today and that's OK.
  2. Great encouragement. Thanks for sharing, I've had head hunger today.
  3. 49 pounds is a great loss, congrats and welcome.
  4. What a difference, congratulations on your weight loss xx
  5. Last night I slept for a massive 10 hours, my body was exhausted. I didn't need to have any pain medication before bed but as soon as I woke up I felt my stomach muscles pull. The first hot shower at home was pure bliss, rubbing all the sticky tape gunk of my arms and stomach and finally washing my hair I was able to wash the smell of the hospital from my hair. Hit a wall today with my tiredness, really feeling it but I still have a massive smile on my face from my choice. I feel so in control of my life. I had some natural yogurt this morning and I didn't gag on it. Taking food and Water very slowly, I get distracted because I don't feel hungry I forget I'm eating. Walking has helped get the gas out, sometimes it is really bad if I don't watch how big my mouthful is or how big my sips are. Overall I am well and everyone gets a *high five*

  11. Excitement and nerves are all part of the process, they are good to feel. You may even become scared and that's completely normal as well, try sitting with all of your feelings. Don't push them aside, be mindful of where you are emotionally. Good luck on this awesome journey your starting.
  12. That second shower was pure heaven... sigh. I'm up and walking around the ward, drinking well. Just need to focus on siping because I get distracted lol I'm taking my morning medications (3 tablets) over a 40min period. Didn't sleep well, different environment and lots of strange noises. I see my doctor soonish so hopefully today or tomorrow for home. Feeling proud of myself ????
