I love seeing everyone's before and after pictures they always inspire me so I thought I'd post one since its been a while and I actually am now in the 200's! My sw-442 surgery date-7/26/16 (Gastric bypass) current weight-298 I still have such a ways to go but I am loving my journey to my goal weight of 199. I honestly have no complaints and I am starting to enjoy exercises and jogging. I'm so glad I decided to do this.

This is basically what your stomach looks like immediately after surgery:

At 2 weeks out, you're still healing. Nerves have been cut and things stapled back together. Your "full" sensation may not be working properly because of everything being so wonky (scientific term). That's why it's very important to measure everything so you don't accidentally over eat if you are trying to rely on the full signal early out. That's how leaks can occur. Also, certain foods give better restriction than others. For instance, I can eat 6 ounces of fish at 2 years out, but can still only eat 3 or 4 ounces of chicken breast because it's denser Protein.
Is that a good enough answer for you, princess?

Since you brought this up... And my answer isn't FOR YOU, it's for anyone reading.
I can take a large banana full of sugar, little protein', throw it in my food processor and reduce it to 4 Tablespoons.
I can also take 3-4 cups of puffy Cheetos, throw them in my food' processor and reduce those down to 4 Tablespoons.
Measure it before you mash it. Just a thinking point for those who are receptive.

@ LipstickLady Ok, so this is like the 10th post I've seen from you and each one makes me lol. I can't wait until I'm on the other side and hope to get a ton of feedback from everyone. You alone though, may be the driving force that keeps me on track. Keep it real Sent from my VS985 4G using the BariatricPal App

At 2 weeks out, banana was on my food list.....BUT only a 1" piece, mashed. My program stresses here are the portions, don't eat more than that til we say you can eat more, end of story. Plus we were warned that bananas are very high in sugar and can cause dumping, so proceed with caution.
Just because bananas are allowed on your program, does that mean they want you to keep eating as much banana as you want?
This is where I think it would be hard to be a NUT, bc you can give people an inch and they can take a mile.

You've got a lot to address here but I'll stick with one thing -- your grades. Set up conferences with the professors who gave you bad grades so that you can go over your exams with them and figure out what they were looking for that they didn't see on your final. Your profs may seem distant and intimidating and you may feel like it's too embarrassing to go talk to them, but I promise you, they want to talk with you and help you. Law faculty find it incredibly frustrating when students who are struggling do not reach out for help. We want to help you! We are not looking down on you, thinking you are stupid, or anything else.
Also, if your school has a person designated as an "Academic Success" or similar coordinator, meet with them and ask for all the help you can get.
You are obviously incredibly bright and willing to work hard. I have no doubt that you can turn this around.

I think you need a good nights sleep and wake up to the realization that every choice we make is our own..good or bad, I think you are feeling very overwhelmed so you're feeling very sorry for yourself too, but this isn't the answer. Drinking and eating yourself into a Coma isn't either. It sounds like you are just mentally exhausted..and lord who wouldn't be reading how busy you are..how about instead of spending $25 on junk at the gas station, next time call and schedule a massage..do something good for your body..take a yoga class, do something to just stop the mental bashing and just stop and breath...only you can change your old bad habits into healthy ones. We're all in this together..we got this! You got this!

When you are no longer afraid (neurotically, painfully afraid) of running into someone from high school or college who knew you BEFORE you got fat.
A couple of weeks ago I was in my hometown having lunch at a restaurant with my brother, and mid-way through I realized I had not scoped out every diner in the place to see if there was someone I needed to hide from, nor had I entered the place with the slightest bit of apprehension. It was a wonderful realization.
