  3. That's interesting. I thought the largest incision would be on the left side as that's where the stomach is located. I guess different surgeons have different techniques. Hope you are recovering well. All the best.
  4. Thanks guys. I guess it's to be expected. I've had some soup and starting to feel better.

I have been walking loads the last few days but today can't get out of bed to walk. Hope tomorrow will be better. Thanks for you input guys. Just going to have an in bed and Netflix day today.

  12. You're right about the pain meds. I stopped them at day 4 post op because I wasn't in pain as such but just LOTS of gas!! I walked as much as possible and drank.
  13. No, are you drinking enough fluids? I've started using natural fibre in my shakes as well some kind of husk can't remember the name of it. What I have noticed is my bowel movements are quite running. Apparently that is to be expected when you are on theiquid diet
  14. I'm having high protein runny yoghurts, protein shakes. I've tried soups but for some reason my stomach doesn't like hot foods at the moment only room temperature.
  15. Hi Kel, It's been a struggle to get the foods and drink down for me. The last couple of days have been good though. I'm still on liquids as well. I start puréed foods next Thursday which I'm excited about. Been pintresting like mad for the puréed stage getting ideas. I lost 17lbs pre-op and 12lbs so far after surgery. It's good to feel good again. Never thought I'd get here after the first week.
  16. 10 days post op and I'm finally starting to feel human. People said I would but I couldn't believe them after the first week. I'm able to drink more and take more than small sips to get Water in. Today I walked the most I've walked since surgery 4000 steps. I don't feel drained or tired. Eating a bit more bit by bit. The gas is pretty much none existent as I've made myself walk EVERYDAY!! For those of you that have just been sleeved please know it gets better. It may not seem like it at the moment but it will. All the best to you all!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
