  3. Thank you all!!! I can't believe I was only able to see these now! I lost my password and could only log in from work!! Its been almost 3 weeks and I have lost about 25 pounds so far!! Woohoo!! I feel great and have no pain what so ever! I am a little scared that I am able to try and nibble on things without getting sick AT ALL!! I am just supposed to be starting the pureed stage and I have no problem eating normal foods!?!?!? Should I be concerned? Anyone else like this?
  4. I'm just waiting to go under!! Prayers please! Leave a note, a prayer, suggestions... something to read when I wake up... lol! Thanks!
  5. I agree!! I have been making my phone calls during meal times, or jumping on line... or going tanning!! lol! Anything to avoid seeing, smelling or sitting next to the yum yums! Seems to be helping me, I guess. You can do it! I keep reminding my self... "That burger doesn't taste as good as healthy & skinny feels!!"
  6. Wow... have you tried calling your doc or maybe the nutritionist? They for sure would have some words of wisdom for you!?

  13. That's funny! Good luck with surgery!! I am in the two week wait... waiting for my insurance approval or denial. Ugh.
  14. Congratulations!! Are you finding its easy to follow the plan? Stick with the rules? How do you feel!?
  15. Great post! Great advice too!! I am still waiting on my approval... and it seems I am not nervous about the surgery at all, but the thought of eating and making decisions on my own after surgery and sticking to the plan after surgery TOTALLY FREAKS ME OUT!!!! Can I do it? What if I fail? What if I screw up? Will I know what to do? Will I be able to tell if I am full? Will I be able to resist the cravings? Am I strong enough for this? No lie... totally freaking out and I am not even approved yet. Anyone else go through this?
  16. I am still waiting on a couple things, my 2nd dietician appointment, haven't even submitted for my insurance approval yet either... but I am doing everything I can to be "as prepared as I can be" I gave up coffee, working on pop, I have significantly decreased. I am watching my sugar intake and increasing my protein amounts. I guess, I am still mostly scared and nervous about the after surgery diet. Can I do it? Can I stick to it? Can I follow it exactly? What if I do it wrong? How do you all feel? Do you feel prepared? Thanks!
  17. How's everyone doing!?
  18. I agree and LOVE all of you for this post!!! I am 5' 6" and weigh 236. I hear the "You wear it well" also... Gee, thanks! I feel like Shrek, but... yea thanks! I have very high cholesterol, I am always out of breath, and feel uncomfortable in most of my clothes. My BMI is 38. I am waiting on my 2nd dietician appointment and then its up to the insurance approval. I am ready for this. #goodluckeveryone
