I work for a acupuncturist/nutritionist. My op day is Dec 21. I have started probiotics, Biotin, B12, zinc, Vitamin D, Curcuma and Vital Zymes to help prep me. I am doing my best to make sure i am the best i can be. I also take ACV to prevent colds etc. ByeByeLbs

I have UHC i was told a 6 month wait, however, my doctors office called and they said that i did NOT need a six month wait. My insurance also told me my doctor was out of network, and a second time told me he was in. With UHC research your plan in and out and work closely with the billing manager at the facility you chose. ByeByeLbs

I just got a call from my surgeon's office, NWWLS, saying that I have been approved they wanted to do my surgery October 12th however since of work restrictions I opted to have its December 21st. I'm so excited.... I have to do my sleep study, psych evaluation and endoscopy still...but im super happy this is becoming a reality!! ByeByeLbs

Hello everyone, I'm new here. As of Jan 1 2014 I will have my UHC choice plus benefits. I have called TWICE to ask specifically what the requirements are. I was told 1) 40+ BMI OR 2) 35 plus comp.. I asked about 6 month monitored diet and they said no, not required. I have searched high and low for the actual written requirements and cant find anything. I have waited 5 yrs to have the chance to have this surgery....has ANYONE had UHC and was NOT required 6 months or 5 yr documentation? Thanks!
