Pre op diet day one

Pre op diet day one down. I didn't die wasn't starving. But I do have a killer headache caffeine withdrawal. Wish I'd had given it up sooner.

  • That's kind of the way I felt, I didn't die Keep up the great work, it does get easier. I started one week ago today and scheduled for surgery one week from today. Let's get this over with.

I am on day 2 of the diet. Yesterday was hard. I realized I did a lot of eating out of biredum. Scheduled for surgery on the 24th. Day after my birthday. Great gift! Sent from my iPhone using the B

I am still waiting on a couple things, my 2nd dietician appointment, haven't even submitted for my insurance approval yet either... but I am doing everything I can to be "as prepared as I can be" I gave up coffee, working on pop, I have significantly decreased. I am watching my sugar intake and increasing my protein amounts. I guess, I am still mostly scared and nervous about the after surgery diet. Can I do it? Can I stick to it? Can I follow it exactly? What if I do it wrong? How do you all feel? Do you feel prepared? Thanks!

Ok day 3 and still kicking :) hardest part for me is no caffeine. Caffeine headache day one and two. Hoping not to have one tonight.

Hi there. I felt this way before my pre op class. Once I went to that it was very clear. I chose to eat all the things I loved up to the night before my day 1 of pre op. I'm on day 3 and it's going well. I am honesty not hungry which surprises me but I do miss eating. Only drinking feels weird.

For me I can have 5 Proteins (protein shakes and up to 2 protein bars) daily. Also can have sugar free Jello, pudding, and Popsicles. And broth.
