If you had to lose any weight pre op than you should be fine. My doctor said the liver isn't going to shrink that much more in 2 weeks than it has with the dieting beforehand RNY Surgery 10.31.2016

Tomorrow is my week since surgery and it's been really hard. Stay up on ur pain medicines and anti nausea meds after surgery. I didn't and couldn't keep anything down and was forced to stay another night. I slept most of the time in there and so I also couldn't keep up on my fluids. So try ur best at that too. Good luck!! I was in two nights and I'm home for my 2nd night. It's been hell to say the least. I'm nauseous even keeping Water down. I'm on Zofran for it but it's barely touching it. Never been so miserable RNY Surgery 10.31.2016
