Just curious because our start weights are similar, and my goal is to get to your current weight- do you exercise like a maniac? Or just normal, or at all? I am almost 6 months out, and my weight loss has slowed considerably. I am trying to incorporate exercise, but time wise it is difficult. You look fabulous! 3. Hi girl4god77, I had my lap band removed and converted to a RNY on 6/13. My two largest incisions are above my belly button, and on the right side. It hurts when I bend over, and just in general basically aches a lot of the time (like right now!). My surgeon did say my surgery was difficult and there was a lot of scar tissue. I am just ready for the pain to be over, and I am so afraid it will always be there. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  4. cat.jackson89- I also have pain on my right side, not the left like everyone else. Did they ever tell you what it was? I had surgery 6/13 and I really thought it would be gone by now. It's very annoying! Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  5. I'm 3 weeks post op, and have the same pain, but on my right side! Bending over is excruciating! I can't stretch, reach, kneel, anything without that incessant pain. And the burning! I literally clutch my stomach/side when I feel it. Idk what it is- but it's a relief to know I'm not the only one experiencing it. I emailed my surgeon, I'm hoping he gets back to me soon, because I'm due to go back to work next Monday- and idk how I'm going to do it with this pain! Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  6. curlysue- could it be a caffeine headache? I had to stop caffeine before my surgery (6/13) and I had horrible headaches. I am now drinking decaf coffee which has a minimal amount of caffeine in it. I hope your headaches are better!! Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

Is there a June surgery group?

I had mine 6/13- looking for people in similar phase as myself. Did a June group ever get started? Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
