  1. My question is are any of you using anything in your coffee? Before all this prep for surgery I used full fat half & half (which makes for the best cup of coffee), but now I haven't. It is ok to use the sugar free creamers? They pretty don't have much of anything in them like calories, carbs or sugars. Also, does any one know if you can chew sugar free gum?
  2. I'm day 3 into liquid diet too, and surgery is Nov. 9. I find it strange that some folks only have to do the liquid for a week, or two weeks (like me) or even a month like I've ready in other forums. It's nice to hear from others. I'm going to try the campbells soups to and strain it. I actually never thought of that. I've just bought chicken broth and there is absolutely no flavor in it. Blah!
  3. I join you ladies as my surgery is Nov. 9. Just three days into my liquid diet and it's not so bad so far. Just can't wait until the surgery is over.
  4. I'm on day 3 of my pre-op all liquid diet and I'm happy to say that I did lose 3 pounds in the 3 days. I write down everything and I'm getting about 70 grams of Protein and eating under 700 calories each day. Would be curious to see how others have made out as well.
  5. I tried the discount code and it didn't work. Thanks anyway.
  6. determinedtolive, which four do you take?.....oh sorry, nevermind, you already posted them earlier.
  7. Good question, Autumn. I'd like to know more as well. Can you wear them all at the same time?
  8. Vitamin Patches? Say what? Never heard of these and doctors office never mentioned them either. Where can you purchase them?
  9. My surgery date is November 9. I've never had a goal weight. They just told me to maintain, because I'm on the borderline of not qualifying. That makes me very nervous in terms of the insurance.
  10. My surgery date is November 9. I'm wondering if all of you have given up caffeine entirely?
  11. @@momto3E This product does not give me diarrhea. I'd be glad to send you a few samples so that you can try them. I don't have any side effects like gas, bloating or diarrhea. And who doesn't need a supplement that gives you 8 servings of fruits and veggies in one serving, which also gives you the extra energy that your body needs. You can send me your address via email and I can send you a couple samples. My email is ahipchik1965@yahoo.com and I'll also send you background info on the product so you can ask your doctor to make sure it's okay for you to take. I'm sure it will be. The product is all natural and Non-GMO which is hard to find something without added chemicals.
  12. Well I take ItWorks Greens which keeps me very regular and is the equivalent of eating 8 servings of fruits and vegetables. I also happen to be a distributor. You can check it out at www.amyritamiller.myitworks.com I've been taking them for over a year now and they make you feel great. 13. Hi there! I'm not an October surgery, but my surgery is scheduled for Nov. 9. I was questioning the pre-op diet. My physician group requires a 2 week pre-op liquid diet. Wondering if that is normal? Thanks in advance for your answers.
  14. My pre op diet requires two weeks of a liquid diet. Wondering if that is normal. Just seems like a really long time. Thanks for any input.
  15. I am in my last month of counseling and I haven't lost any weight. Has any one else not lost any weight? I hope they will still approve my surgery. I am probably one of the fittest obese people and am very active. I literally just cannot lose weight. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  16. I am wondering is anyone could tell me some questions they ask in the pre-op psych evaluation. I really don't want to say anything that may prevent me from getting qualified. Thank you. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  17. Still in pre-op and have my psych evaluation next week. I'm afraid I may say something that wouldn't qualify me. Dos anyone have any tips of things to not say? Perhaps some sample questions? I appreciate the help! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
