    My progress pictures!

Thank you so much everyone! I do feel like a new person. Every time I see myself in the mirror or put on some clothes that I wouldn't even have fit in 10 years ago I am just amazed. I'm very thankful for getting sleeved. Happy thanksgiving everyone! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    My progress pictures!

Thank you so much! I didn't really have a strict exercise routine, I would just try to go walking whenever I could. Or if I couldn't go walking I would try to do some sit ups, squats, push ups, little stuff like that before bed. When were you sleeved? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Late June Sleeve Buddies?

Has anyone attempted alcohol yet? I had mine on June 27th and I'm not really a drinker and don't mind waiting for months down the road. But today is my moms bday so I was wondering if one cocktail would be a bad idea this soon? Opinions? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Grocery run! Essentials?!

Like everyone said don't over shop for your post op diets. I did it and wasted just about everything. Powerade zero has always been my go to drink, and sugar free popsicles. During my pre op diet they were lifesavers for me, that and Jello. I would drink premier Protein shakes pre op. But after surgery I couldn't drink the premier shakes anymore and I was sick of the jello. I still love my sf popsicles though and they help you get your liquids in. Late June Sleeve Buddies?

I had mine 6/27 and I'm to the point where I can start intruding normal food into my diet but I'm finding it hard still. But honestly I think the problem is I'm just scared I'm gonna mess up lol I know that sounds dumb. So I was wondering if anybody had any tips for quick and easy Breakfast ideas that I can take to work with me or the best Protein bars that they've found? Protein help

I was gonna buy some GENEPRO but I keep seeing bad reviews about it too.. Then the lady at gmc suggest the Isopure powder. The only thing I've managed to do that I can drink so far is mix it with some Water and put a squirt of watermelon flavoring in it. But still, I would like to find a much easier solution. 13. Alrighty everybody I need some advice! I had my surgery June 27th and have been struggling to get all my Protein in. I loved the premier shakes pre op but can't stand them now. So I bought some unflavored Isopure powder yesterday. Tried to add a scoop of it to my mashed potatoes tonight but I did something wrong and it came out horrible lol. So what is the best way to get all the protein in? Or some of the best foods to add the powder too? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Showering after surgery

I was sleeve on a Monday and went home Tuesday morning. Could have showered then but I ended up showering on Wednesday morning. Just let the Water run over your incisions and don't rub them. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Constipation.

How long did it take you to get some relief with the Colace? I took some today and really want it to kick in soon lol. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Well I had finally gotten it out before I took the Colace so that was a relief. I took the Colace to prevent further constipation and so far it is working. You still take it daily or how often? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App I still take it daily. I'm afraid to stop.I don't blame ya at all. I've never been constipated in my life either and today and last night has been the worst part of this whole surgery so far for me.
