my goal is to hit 85 lbs lost and to increase my exercise from 3 days a week to 5 or 6 and to increase my water

i have the 14 cc APL band with 8 ccs total so far and working great :tongue:

would you believe this....i had a 12 day liquid pre op diet and lost 34 lbs!!! he kinda looked at me like why did i need the sugery but darnit i got my band!! :tongue:

i voted it is... i just reached my sweet spot and 3 oz usually does it for me 4 times a day and im stuffed

had my surgery on 12/20/08 and down 72 and counting :tongue:

im convinced they do i wore an 11w and now a 10 reg lol one more size would be totally awsome!!

it can totally be done.... i know a few people from another site that have lost at least 270....its just a matter of how bad you want it and how well you stick to the rules. Im in the same boat as you so you arent alone. I started at 455 on dec 1st of last year and today was my 4th fill and im down to 388 in 3 months. My goal is 230 and im bound determind to get there lol. So the band really does work if you work it..... good luck :teeth_smile:

the same exact thing happened to me with the same insurance... the only documentation i had was when i was 2,12, and 17 ( mind now that i am 22) but they denied me twice. My Dr said they worked with some law advacates stationed out of California. They had a site too called Obesitylaw.com, my dr sent my case to them and 1 month later i was approved. You could check to see if your dr offers anything like that or check the site and file your own case . It didnt cost me anything. Hope this helps

hiya! im not from colorado but im about 3 hrs north of denver right inside NE. I got banded last dec (which today is my 3 month bandaversery :thumbup:) by Dr. Johnell in greeley so i might as well move there as many times as ive been there in the last 3 months lol

i havent found my spot exactly yet and all my fills are 2 weeks apart so far....after my first fill of 4 ccs i had good restriction for a week, then nodda got the second fill of 1 cc and i felt like she took one out. no restriction what so ever. next came another 2 ccs fill for a total of 7 and im now noticing i cant eat no more than a cup and 1/2 during am hours but around 2 cups in the afternoon. going for 4th fill this tuesday and im only getting 1/2 cc so i hope this is the one

ok just found this forum thought id say a quick hi!!!! im from scottsbluff/gering area and just got my band on 12/20/07 and am down 46 officially and got my 3rd fill today. Had my surgery in Greeley CO but now am seeing dr forney and holloway here in town so glad to be a loser! hehe
