traceygirl got a reaction from KristenLe in Lack of energy
I drink it throughout the day. I cannot drink it all at once. What would you suggest for the "small meals"? I had a slice of turkey from the deli early. I felt very full. I can only take a few bites before feeling overly full

traceygirl got a reaction from Faitheyfoo in One month out
Is it hard for anyone one month out or a little past that mark to eat? I have a few bites and it feels like a bowling ball dropped. I cannot even eat the recommended amount yet which should be 4-6 oz. Does anyone else experience this?

traceygirl got a reaction from Christinamo7 in 48 hours afterwards. Was it a mistake?
Me too Gina. I thought to myself... Did I make the wrong decision. It is very hard at first. Heck it is still hard. I am 3 weeks post op. I went to my surgeons and I lost 20 lbs. that made it worth it! I cannot stand purees but I tell myself again it will be worth it. Health wise, confidence etc. This forum helps out a lot too!

traceygirl reacted to sharonintx in Medical Marijuana and the sleeve
Well......this question will certainly open a can of worms. I 'm going to get my comment in before the s**t storm hits.
I'm in Texas. We do not have medical marijuana. We still have to get it from the trusty neighborhood stoner. Keep in mind that I would not be considered a heavy user. I'm a lightweight user. There has been no problem, no additional issues with acid reflux, and it has not been a gateway to more dangerous drugs. No transfer of addiction from food to drugs or alcohol either. It did not slow my recovery after surgery nor did it cause me to eat uncontrollably.
Obviously your surgeon will warn you against using marijuana. If you try it post op and it causes you any problems then don't do it again. If not then light one up and enjoy your double chocolate Protein shake.

traceygirl reacted to Teachamy in Anyone from Rhode Island/New England area?
Hi there!
I am from Maine. I started out with a low BMI too. Have been very excited to see the health and physical changes afforded me by the sleeve. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions!
