  1. Hey there. Congrats on your pregnancy! I am also 8 weeks pregnant. I was told by the midwife to start back drinking protein shakes. I had my surgery in 2016 and haven't had a protein shake since 2017. I have not heard that they are bad for you but she specifically recommended the premier protein drinks.   3. I am still in my first trimester. In almost 3 years post OP from gastric bypass surgery. I have reached my goal weight and have been maintaining it for the past two years.
