  1. The only hard habit to break is drinking during eating. All I want is a glass of Water while I eat but it causes the worst pain Sent from my XT1585 using the BariatricPal App
  2. I was/am on puree. Just now integrating very soft foods. But I will be four weeks post op on Wednesday I was able to handle two small spoonfuls of cooked oatmeal on friday and then a yogurt and then a tablespoon of ground meat all day and was stuffed Sent from my XT1585 using the BariatricPal App
  3. Ugh I wish I could burp!!! Ever since I had surgery my burps are super tiny and hurt like hell Sent from my XT1585 using the BariatricPal App
  4. You are also more likely to get ulcers for the first two months after surgery. Personally after the longgg process it took for me to get surgery I didn't think it was worth risking. I am almost at week 4 and introducing mushy foods and odd things like watermelon make me violently ill. So since things that usually wouldn't bother me now make me feel awful I just follow the dieticians diet for me and pray for the best Sent from my XT1585 using the BariatricPal App
  5. At this point I'm ASSuming that it varies by physician whether or not they recommend a cpap or any other form of treatment with mild sa. Recommended at their discretion. Maybe. Mine said I didn't even test positive for sleep apnea Sent from my XT1585 using the BariatricPal App
  6. Omg I hit a stall too!! I lost 25 pounds the first two weeks and then I only lost 2.5 this week. My dietician said it is completely normal as i introduce other food and that I weigh myself too frequently Sent from my XT1585 using the BariatricPal App
  7. I would feel excruciating pain every time i drank. I spoke to a PA and he said to take a large mouth full and hold it in my mouth and slowly let bits work their way down my esophagus. He said eventually gravity takes its course and helps the liquid go down without pain. He was right. Sent from my XT1585 using the BariatricPal App

  12. You are going to feel so sick if you eat too much so I don't think that will be too big of an issue. I went on a cruise two weeks pre op and only gained ONE POUND. I counted my calories and went walking every single day. It was annoying getting up hours before everyone but it paid off greatly. That was pre surgery Sent from my XT1585 using the BariatricPal App

  14. They want to make sure you understand what is about to happen and make sure you are mentally able to handle it and have proper support. Be honest and strong. You will be fine. Mine took about two hours. Walked out feeling abused but was approved for surgery Sent from my XT1585 using the BariatricPal App
  15. I hate when people hear I had wls and are like "oh well you cheated"... Cheated what? Do you seriously think it's easy to go through the process and then get cut open and then have to deal with post op? Oh and still having to workout and do everything else? So irritating. My wls was a tool I used to control my poor eating habits. It makes me emotional because WHO CARES HOW I AM LOSING WEIGHT. I am losing it for me and my family regardless of my methods Sent from my XT1585 using the BariatricPal App
