  1. I think you need to identify why you are regretting it and take it one minute at a time. I'm not regretting surgery I am just afraid of what COULD happen. Sent from my XT1585 using the BariatricPal App
  2. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone. I might not post often but I read everyone's posts non stop. I was sleeved on 4/27 Truth be told I am still scared that this won't work. That I will be the one freak of nature that doesn't lose weight and get healthy again. I keep thinking what I am feeling post op could not be normal. But seeing everyone's posts helps me realize we are all different but all still so the same and every day is a new chapter in this journey. It took TEN MONTHS for me to get through my bariatric process. Ten months of feeling defeated and like this was never going to happen. And then it finally did. What an emotional roller coaster. I am so glad to have found this app. Even if it was just a few days before surgery. All my questions that I forget to ask my surgeon are answered in some form here. When I have anxiety with thoughts racing through my head, I just pop on here and then I look at the clock and realize I have been reading about people's journeys for hours. I find myself hopeful and positive once again. I return to work tomorrow 5 days post op. I know i can handle this now. And if ever I feel like I can't, it's nice having somewhere to turn to. Sent from my XT1585 using the BariatricPal App
  3. My boobs grew secondary to pregnancy and nursing. So I already have the droopy post boobie feeding look going for me. Just was sleeved four day ago. Really hoping they don't get any worse Sent from my XT1585 using the BariatricPal App

Sent from my LGMS631 using the BariatricPal App Same. Getting in 64 oz is SOOOO hard. 9. Just looking for a little support. Was sleeved on 4/27. Woke up in agony from the gas pains. Woke up on the 28th with pain and nausea and was told I needed to stay another night. Now they told me I have to drink three glasses of crystal light before they would discharge me. My pain is mediocre but I'm concerned that when I swallow, I have pain in the center of my chest. Just wondering if anyone else has had this and what helped. My dr says it is normal and I need to take bigger sips and that gravity will do its job and it will get easier. Just patiently waiting to feel better and start my new life Sent from my XT1585 using the BariatricPal App

  14. My surgeons program is a bit longer than others but my insurance required 6 months of nutrition, a pulmonologist, a couple other things, then they tried to get it authed through my primary insurance which didn't cover it but my secondary came back after a couple weeks and approved it Sent from my XT1585 using the BariatricPal App Oh I should say I started the program in June 2015 and am having surgery today. So about ten months later Sent from my XT1585 using the BariatricPal App

  16. The first 4-5 are the worst. This is my last day and I have been doing it since last Tuesday and I don't feel hungry at all Sent from my XT1585 using the BariatricPal App
  17. I had my gall bladder out but couldn't wait to have it done at the same time as my sleeve. I am so thankful I had it out. I couldn't eat things like avocado and Peanut Butter for awhile but it was for the best. Sent from my XT1585 using the BariatricPal App
  18. i HAD to use the programs nutritionist. There was no other way to get the visits done. They expected me to keep a daily journal (thank you fitbit) and make some kind of progress every month. Honestly though, I am thankful for the long process just for the pure fact that i learned SO much from everything. I look at food COMPLETLEY different and my surgery isnt even until Wednesday!
