  4. Hi everyone. New to this group but needed some support. I am scheduled for April 27th to finally be sleeved after being in the program since June. Last time I saw my dr I told him I was going on a cruise two weeks before surgery. He had told me if I gained any weight he wouldn't do my sleeve. Easy enough. I watched what I ate, worked out every day and stayed hydrated. Still gained a pound unfortunately. Well he had me starting preop op one week before surgery. I have lost 6 pounds since I started preop and still have the remainder of today and then up til Wednesday. I haven't cheated even a little. My surgeon told me I should lose between 8-12 pounds pre op and if I don't, again he won't do surgery. Has anyone ever had their surgeon say no way on the day of surgery? Or is this a scare tactic? I am so paranoid I am eating approx 400 calories a day and my energy has severely depleted. Thanks everyone Sent from my XT1585 using the BariatricPal App
