  1. Thanks. I am proud of myself. Cannot wait until Friday for my next weigh in...hoping to be down into the 380s
  2. I agree...
  3. I have DGA (Diversified Group Administrators) When I started the program they were only a month into having it at CCMH and I was told I didn't have to lose any but I wasn't allowed to gain. I dunno if it's like that now. I didn't have to lose a specific amount. My insurance wanted a bunch of stuff that other insurances don't want, that's why I am doing several tests this month. I had to see a pulmonologist for my insurance and he wants all the extra testing. My insurance isn't too bad though. In october when I start preop and get my EGD(endoscopy) I have to pay up front 1700 dollars. That's not too bad considering it's all 17,000 dollars for it.
  4. My seminar was April 5th. I started my 6th month supervised diet on May 6th. It has gone by so quickly. Thanks for the congrats. I haven't stopped eating carbs but I quit drinking carbination and caffiene back in february and that really jump started my weight loss. I try to exercise at least 1 to 2 miles 4 to 5 days a week. Lindsey has me on between 1200 and 1600 calories I usually eat around 1200-1300.
  5. Hello all. I am a WV person too. My surgeon is Kaplan . I go for my 9th weigh in on Friday. I have lost 26 lbs so far. I love everyone down there. Jeannie, Lindsey and all of them are so nice. I look forward to my appts and they are very helpful. My surgery is supposed to be sometime in November. I am so excited. I started at 419 lbs and I am down to 393. Hope to be down more on friday and before surgery.
  6. No I didn't do what my mom said. I was told not to have relationships etc/not to have sex. I had sex but I used protection. But I wasn't very comfortable with my body I was over 300 lbs. I'm sure I would have been worse off if I was at a healthy weight. I saw her daughter carry the baby out...but I knew it was palin's 4 month old son. Considering she just had a baby in april and the fact that she said her 4 kids were with her besides her son who was away for training for Iraq.
  7. Posting to say I hate cleaning and hot weather.
  8. Lol people on the Are we ready for a woman VP thread think it's none of my business that Palin's daughter is pregnant. How is it not? Palin is the one who announced it to the news media. If it wasn't my business or any of ours then why did she tell the media?
  9. Obviously Palin thought it was our business...because she is the one who announced it to the news. If she didn't want people to judge her for that maybe she shouldn't have said it.
  10. BJean I always adore your posts...they're fantastic. Has anyone else heard on the news today how Palin's 17-year-old daughter is 5 months pregnant? Maybe if the USA had more money and schooling for birth control/etc. like Obama wants...that wouldn't have happened. And Palin says she is proud of her daughter and boyfriend who she plans on marrying due to the baby.
  11. So on the news today I heard that Palin's 17 year old daughter is 5 months pregnant. What do you guys think of that?
  12. Miss you hun...hope the fundraiser goes smoothly!
  13. I read through all of that and only two of them have links to any info. You can't believe everything you read on the internet.
  14. OMG that is awesome!! Yay for the women!! Girl power!
  15. Yay for cornhole  That's a big leisure sport around my area...of course...west virginia...LOL I did 1 mile walk tonight
  16. Haha I love this post. You're awesome.
  17. That sucks. Hope your holiday weekend gets better and all the people take a nap :wink2:
  18. -rolls eyes-
  19. I voted yes aswell...but not her.
  20. Yes it does. He also told me the sex toy one was okay too.
  21. Oh yeah okay....I was being a smart ass...something you should know all too much about. I'm done with you.
  22. And I see why you've only posted here once. LOL
  23. As an admin/mod you shouldn't be so judgemental of people. But hey what do I know...I'm immature and jealous of everyone.
  24. Of course McCain may have more experience...he's 72 years old. In my opinion too old to be president. His VP pick was a mayor of a little town and a governor. He just picked her...to make him look like a better person for picking a woman when Obama didn't. Obama has more experience than she'll ever have.
  25. Yesterday 2 mile brisk walk 40 minutes Arm exercises 10 minutes Today I haven't done yet...I will in a bit
