  1. OMG.....I want to toussle her hair!!!
  2. Well, if it had been a lady (and MY injured foot) I would have politely asked her to please refrain from hitting my injured foot with her cart. If it had been a dude, I would politely have said "2 bumps with your cart are free. The next one means one of us is leaving with a wupped ass"......then I would have screamed like a schoolgirl and done that wild slappy thing that fighting chicks do.

Wow....was it wrong that Jillian got A LOT hotter when she was working out?!? Yee-Haw!! Yeah, I'm sexist...so what?
  4. Hahahaha...."Funpillows!!"
  5. I say "roof".....but it almost has 2 syllables with my accent. I have to 'fess up that I do say seament (like swimming in the seament pond).
  6. I think it was the unpopular answer in the room. And as much as I defend FOX news to some other posters, I have to admit they got this one wrong. He called her worse than that. He called her the word that ends in u-n-t and is not "aunt". He's a classy, classy dude. I totally totally support civil unions and all legal rights thereof. I would vote against gay marriage, if it came up for a vote in my state, even though I have numerous gay friends. I can't even really articulate a good reason that I feel that way....but I do. I wouldn't describe myself as homophobic.
  7. Deep-brain stimulation scares the poop out of me. I would have to have a terminal condition before I would consider it.
  8. ???? You can become dependant on IV Fluid like you can get dependant on oxygen......that is, not at all. If you're still vomiting, they're not working. WTF, Claire?!? Are you residing in the United States? Because before I get all worked up on how incompetant your docs have been, I want to be sure there's not a cultural difference (Foreign doctors vs. American doctors). But here's the real issue.....Is this a for real post? Does it seem normal to you that you cannot hold much liquid down and no food? And that the solution is to start toning your muscles?
  9. Hey, that's great news 39 (about the insurance approval.....not the gallbladder, lol)!!
  10. Hey Eric. We're glad to have you here. You are right to be concerned about the band.....that just tells me that you're actually putting some thought into it vs. jumping in blindly. Consideration is always a good thing with any surgery. You might want to check under the "doctors and hospitals" section on the main page. There might be some info on Dr. Curry or hospitals in Cincy there. So, you'll have a much better idea of what the band entails once you go to a seminar. In the meantime, please feel free to snoop around here and ask annoying questions (I love to do that, lol). Good luck, man!
  11. Hey Vinca, it's cool that you found a doc that you really "clicked" with. Since you recommend him so highly, maybe you should post your opinion of him under the "doctors and hospitals" section on the home page. It seems like more people read the subforums than the "intro" section.
  12. I dunno, Fanny, but I DO know that you deserve success. Perhaps we both need to be psychoanalyzed, eh? I'm not sure the world is ready for a peek into my subconscious
  13. I really don't have a good answer for you, fanny, but I'll tell you this: You're not alone. I figured out a while ago that I'm way more a "reward" eater than a "stress" or "depression" eater.
  14. Regardless of which side of the issue you're on, I think it's beyond stupid to bash somebody on their opinion when it's asked of them. Of course, all the controversy has been good for the pagent, I suppose......which is probably why Donald Trump has pretentious jerks like Perez Hilton on as judges.
  15. No, but I caved and watched the American version (The Grudge). Eh....... But now that I'm doing netflix, I have the ability to watch all those movies it was difficult for me to see (because I'm in the middle of rual nowhere). Yay Netflix! And thanks for reminding me of Ju-on!!
  16. Sheesh, woman! Get better already! and BTW, the "old" LBT is back for me!
  17. If anybody enjoys weird asian movies, I recently watched "Audition" (again). Very good, but one of the most disturbing movies I have ever seen. In the same vein (weird asian movies), I also watched "Oldboy". Good movie....the netflix sleeve compared the director to Alfred Hitchcock, and I can see that.
  18. Hey!! You've probably smelled it before. w00t!!1 What kind of ........"garden center" was this?!? How long have they had this policy, and more importantly, give me directions!!! Mine too.
  19. It's true! I'm a shining star!!
  20. Yeah, I don't think she lost the title just for her views. She's a pretty atrocious speaker. However, she is entitled to speak her opinion when asked.....even if the expression is unpopular, or delivered in an extremely awkward manner.
  21. Um, are you referring to a portable meal of meat and vegetables between two slices of bread? That's known as a samich. And my favorite is going to the li-berry to get some books.
  22. PJTP: One of my patients last night was an old hippie that was high-yi-yi.....I almost got a contact buzz. On a more sad note, the sweetish odor of the pot mixed with the patchooli (sp?) she doused herself with was making me a little ill. On a lighter note, her unshaved armpits and legs (and I can only assume other parts) made me glad I wasn't a hippie in the late 60's / early 70's. Not that I would want to offend my non-shaving female friends. I understand for some it's a lifestyle choice.
  23. Heehee...then maybe I should post, to bring everybody waaaaaay down! I think you'll feel more self-satisfaction that way, Glouc. I've been very slow losing lately (scale weight), but my body is changing. I can tell a little more muscle, a little less fat....my point is, I've been resisting getting fills for the last few visits, because I do feel better about myself when I feel like I'm doing a little more work than the band (or we're at least going Dutch). Yes!! Exactly what I was trying (and failing) to say above! If I look great at the beach, I don't care what the scale says. Hang in there, HF. Quit bringing me down, man! Or tuberculosis. As f'ed up as it is, she's still his mother. Most of us guys have a thing about our moms.
  24. I agree too! I actually have no problem against very low / no taxes for the poorest among us, as long as they're working (when applicable).
