All pre-op diets suck, lol!! The one I had to follow was not sooooo bad. It helped me to know that the whole reason behind the pre-op diet is really for our safety on the operating table. Hang in there....you can do it!

If you or your husband ever took anything I said seriously, or as sexual harrassment, then I apologize....it was not my intent. I can see that my sense of humor is not for everybody, so I will not be using it anymore. This is my final post in the lounge and in R&R's. I'll now be sticking to helping the newbs. Actually, as I see it, hh runs through the heart of the matter (with the exception of Brandy....best I can recall <and as she confirmed by postings> she only got tangled after that whole fb brouhaha). Every other thing is a result of the hh thing. There was really not a big prob with his ban at first (a couple of people asked questions, I answered. Or tried to. Sorry if you saw that as some "dark ops" monkey....I probably said more about the situation than I should have). Then people started getting upset at the "injustice" of him being banned. Bad feelings escalated and then the fb thing happened. But he's more than just a partial catalyst....he's 95% responsible for all of this. And he's probably laughing his ass off at how it turned out.

Anytime that hapeens, report the post. The issue with the alternates was just that. Alternates. The person is banned, not the name. In the interest of full disclosure, I'll admit I voted to ban HH. I'll tell everybody something else (I believe I told either Beth, pool girl, or the monkey in a PM and asked them to keep it private): Susan was way more lenient than me. I was voting ban early on when she was all for giving him warnings. Oh, but he says he was never warned about anything. Whatever.

But you have. When you make a generic statement slamming "mods", I'm in that group. If you are directing your criticism towards one person in particular, then say that name. Isn't that a big part of being direct? Of course! I just feel that HH is probably spreading misinformation about his situation on fb. Now, there's nothing wrong with that...but when you bring that misinformation back on this site, you're doing it a disservice. So....when exactly did you change your "status line" to bowing at the altar of HH?

Then why is it about him now? Why have you changed your "tagline". Isn't that a HH reference? Or am I mistaken? Glou, I can with 100% honesty say that he was warned. I warned him myself a couple of times. Now if he says he was never warned, then one of us is lying. You can decide....I don't care anymore. That's not why "carlene" was banned. "Carlene" was banned because that was a false account trying to get around the temp. ban......and we ban the person, not just the name. I personally find there is a difference between me saying, in in jest and with you playing along, that you do something sexual....and HH saying that to somebody in a malicious way. Are you honestly saying that those two things have the same moral equivalency to you? But I though you said this thing wasn't about HH? Is it, or not? And why is he constantly trying to get back on a site where he was "banned without any sort of warning whatsoever"? If a site did me like that, I'd say screw 'em.

KC, nobody was forced out initially. Somebody broke some rules, was given a temporary suspension, signed back on under false accounts numerous times to post egregious remarks and then was permanently banned. But thanks for calling my decision-making "poor".... I guess we should totally let members say that other members have sex with dogs and cows.

What is all this about being a "follower" all about? And if you're so positively bent on all your situations being made public, then I'd think you could tell me directly that you are "no f'ing follower - a friend - one that you will probably never have the joy of knowing - (my) loss" instead of asking Alex to tell me.

I guess that's true. I think, though, that the promise of healthcare reform sounded better than the reality.....by that I mean that when candidate Obama said "I will reform healthcare to include everybody".......well, ok, that sounds cool. But when the details such as cost, possible rationing, etc. come out, then some people reconsidered their stance. That's not to say that these people don't want reform (no sane person would dispute the need for reform), but rather the shape of that reform is making up the current debate.

I think that's proof that the majority of Americans like President Obama, they just don't agree with his vision of healthcare reform as it now stands. I guess I don't understand what you were getting at, then. You implied that the assassinations had some sort of political slant. I thought that also implied that the shooters did as well. I don't believe for a minute that any legitimate politician or news outlet has encouraged people to show up with guns and / or shout people down. In this time of youtube, you should be able to find examples if this is true (I'm at work, so I can't access youtube till I get home). I'll be shocked if you can find one. Here, I agree w/ you 1000%. But like I said earlier, I think you'd be hard-pressed to find some actual examples of Fox doing anything like you're saying (I know this because I watch Fox pretty regularly). But how does that explain the fact that more people feel like me than like you? I know you don't understand it. I've tried explaining, but you don't want to hear. You'd rather be partisan. Because when Texas enacted tort reform, more doctors moved in state to practice. Why? Because it's cheaper. That's because it's a legitimate difference of opinion. Most of middle America believe that the government cannot provide a meaningful number of long-lasting jobs, because the salary of those people are paid by tax dollars... tax dollars taken from the checks of those that the government employs. It's like those perpetual motion sketches in turn of the century America....they look credible on paper, but it doesn';t work in real life. Some people believe that low taxes are "lost revenue" for the government. Some believe that low taxes encourage people to spend and invest. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle.
