    Side by side photos

You look great!! Not gaunt at all, very handsome. I know the feeling though, I thought my face looked to skinny at first. It just takes sometime to get used to it. I still catch myself doing a double take when I see my reflection, lol.

    Tummy Tuck

Hi Terry! I'm 9 weeks post op from a full tummy tuck with lipo and I'm still wearing my pre-op buttoned pants, just because of swelling. I have gone down a pant size in stretchy pants (because they lipo'd my hips away, lol). It's probably different for everyone depending on where you carry the skin/fat. In the end I will probably be down one pant size once the swelling is gone.

    Plastic's in Mexico?!!

Thanks everyone! @RickM what you said makes complete sense. I was looking at the $ only but I need to look at the aftercare as well. Have a couple of consult's booked with surgeon's in Canada. Finger's crossed!!! And thanks again!
  5. Hello everyone, I'm wondering if anyone has had plastic surgery done in Mexico? Specifically tummy tuck or body lift. I had my sleeve done in Mexico with great result's but having a hard time gathering information on potential surgeon's. All the reviews seem to be super old, lol. TIA!!!

I Want To See Before & After Pics! (Cont'd)

Hello! I was sleeved May 23/16 in Tijuana with Dr. Pompa. It was the best decision of my life! I'm (almost) 6 months post - op and down 50lbs. Would like to lose another 25-30lbs. I feel like the life I've wanted to live for years is finally within my reach! Lovin life!

    Never thought this was possible

Awesome!! You look amazing!! You've changed your life in a dramatic way, so happy you have seen the results of all your hard work!
  8. Can't believe that 4 months in I'm over half-way to my goal!!! It feels like it's been a lifetime since I had my surgery and my life has changed so immensely that it's hard to believe it has only been 4 months. Gone is the obsession over food...what to eat...what not to eat...how much...how little. I just live my life now and it's so freeing!!! I still have alot of work to do when it comes to stress eating, and feeling comfortable in my body but I will get there, work in progress! This forum has been amazing! I want to say Thanks to everyone for sharing their stories and inspiring journey's. I haven't posted much about my journey but reading about your accomplishment have helped my push through the down times when I didn't think the weight was going to come off. You are all amazing!! So glad to have my life back and feel like the old me again!

    Please I need encouragement

@@tenseintexas I know how you feel, but I'm learning to trust the process. I was sleeved May 23/16 and I'm 40lbs down. I have gone through several stalls already and each one I think "this is it, all this for 20...30..40lb's etc." But then suddenly I will drop 4-5lbs more. Hang in there, it will come! Your doing great!!

    Weight loss has stopped...getting worried

@@silverthreads thanks for the support!! It's really nice to hear from others who have been there. Thankfully the scale is moving again, albeit quite slow. I just keep reminding myself that before surgery I was lucky to lose one pound a week, and I'm already down 2 this week and its only Thursday. It took me awhile to adjust my thinking, this isn't a "get rich quick scheme" it's going to take time for my body to adjust, but the weight will come off. @@startingmylife I feel ya, stalled for almost 3 weeks but it's starting to come off again. Hang in there, it will come. I think it was hard for me to get over the euphoria of losing a pound a day for the first couple of weeks.
