Hi Terry...I hate to sound negative and it's very possible that this was just my own experience, but not only did I not lose any weight, or go down in a pant size, but I have actually gained 8 lbs since my surgery 18 months ago. The gain isn't because of the surgery but that's when it started for me . I was unable to exercise for 3 months and it just started creeping in. I didn't have a lot of skin to remove but enough to warrant the surgery. But I think unless you have alot of excess skin, you won't see dramatic weight loss or size in clothes. But again, that's my story. I wish you all the best and hope it goes very well for you.

I had a lot of swelling and for several months wore size 4 instead of my usual size 0. slowly I was able to ease back down to 0.

Hi Terry! I'm 9 weeks post op from a full tummy tuck with lipo and I'm still wearing my pre-op buttoned pants, just because of swelling. I have gone down a pant size in stretchy pants (because they lipo'd my hips away, lol). It's probably different for everyone depending on where you carry the skin/fat.

In the end I will probably be down one pant size once the swelling is gone.
