    3/24 Sleeve buddy wanted

I'm feeling good regards weight loss surgery but I'm suffering from a separate issue in that I need a total hip replacement. Surgery scheduled for 25th June, so I feel tired from the every day effort of just moving about. Everything is such an effort and I'm now using a cane. I had to stop taking anti inflammatory tablets a week before gastric sleeve surgery. So it's hard to say whether my tiredness is due to such a low calorie diet or my hip. I'd say take a nap if you're able. I also went back to work 10 days after surgery. I'm exhausted some evenings so have early nights. Come June, things can only get better. And for every single one of us who has decided to undergo serious surgery as a last resort to help control our weight (a decision not taken lightly) I'd say all our lives WILL get better. Some journeys more difficult than others, but nonetheless we're all in this together. So keep going krissy34, you'll be fabulous x Sent from my SM-T800 using the BariatricPal App

Hi. I too started with same weights as yourself. My surgery was on 10th March 2016 and today I'm down 20lbs. So i am now 227. I do expect the loss to slow down as I will be eating a bit more as the weeks progress onto more solid food. But good luck, you're going to be fine x Sent from my SM-T800 using the BariatricPal App

    Hair loss

Hi. I'm taking extra supplements including zinc, selenium, magnesium and folic acid. Apart from your Protein intake and multi Vitamins, I would check other supplements you could take. My nutritionist has told me any hair loss usually sorts itself out after six months. Hope you'll be okay. X Sent from my SM-T800 using the BariatricPal App

    Anyone from UK

Hi. I live in Lancashire but had my sleeve done privately on 10th March 2016 in Spire Murrayfield in Wirral. I'm now three weeks on and I know I've made the right decision. The part I've hated the most is the tight, knee high stockings I have to wear but only for another three weeks. So if that's all I've got to worry about, my whole process has been brilliant. I stick to the rules and I've felt well all round. It's normal to feel anxious but if you have faith in your surgeon and nursing team, you'll be fine. x Sent from my SM-T800 using the BariatricPal App
