I am 8 weeks post op I wish I had been told how hard it was all going to be sounds like we are similar I get super nauseous if I try and drink Protein shakes now I have learned to eat small portion several times a day to get the protein in. It has got easier I would say around week 6 I started feeling much better. I am sorry about your mom I lost my mom to and I know the feeling and want of needed your mom moms always make things better just being there that's what I miss the most about my mama. Sorry I am having a hard time myself with Protein I was drinking premier shakes but now 6 weeks out they make me super nauseous I have tried so many and can't find anyone that does not make me sick so I started eating small bits every couple hrs but it so hard getting it in.   10. I always wear my Fitbit I love when it vibrates at 10000 I just had knee surgery before my sleeve so I am only making about 6,000-7,000 right now but I will get there Sent from my iPhone

For me it's been really hard because before surgery I was a major Water drinker I loved my water now I get nauseous some time drinking my water but having to wait 30 minutes is hard because you have to keep the taste of food in your mouth like eggs nasty not great but I am starting to get used to it and you will to it all just takes time getting use to all the changes best of luck Sent from my iPhone

Ok I am almost 6 weeks out I started getting sick on Protein shakes very nauseous if I try and drink them since about week 3 trying to find stuff to eat my stomach handles Beans well meat so so I have got sick several time on 2 oz of meat question is when can we have Peanut Butter because I think since its soft and no chewing involved my stomach would do well however I know it has calories but I am only getting about 25-30 G protein and my doc wants me to get in 60 or more any advice thanks Sent from my iPhone

I am right with you I am 5 weeks out I have throw up several times myself it's awful I can't tell if I am full because I ain't hungry to begin with how are u on Protein shakes I have had to stop drinking them they make me nauseous now so I ain't getting in the protein I need either Sent from my iPhone
