I am almost one month out. I had the six month waiting period, talked to lots of people and read this site religiously. It is still more difficult than I was expecting. I am very happy with my progress and have zero regrets but damn, this is so life altering and consumes my every thought. I assume it gets better? Things I am struggling with:
I thought I was so prepared but this is hard and my mom is the one I would be talking to about all of this every day but she passed away unexpectedly on Mother's Day and that is just making things even more difficult.
Thx for reading. Would love any advice you have.
