Tongue sores and low energy
I had really low energy until I started on soft foods like yogurt and cottage cheese. Once I started that I felt much better. You definitely could have thrush as the other poster mentioned. You need to get that treated right away or it will effect your oral intake abilities. They will give you a mouth rinse to swish and spit.

Having trouble with Vitamins
I am glad I found your post. I also ordered the Celebrate chewable vitamins and I have taken 3 doses and I have vomited each time. Tonight, I just was trying to dissolve it in my mouth but I ended up biting it and 5 min later was vomiting. Tomorrow I will try to mix with a small smoothie. I don't find them bad, it just seems to be a reaction of my stomach. Needless to say I am scared of vomiting so early in my recovery. A NUT friend of mine said that the B complex's are hard on the stomach in the way that they may be causing the nausea. I am in Canada and found it very difficult to get Bariatric vitamins here. Many of the sites also do not deliver to Canada. Celebrate was the only company I could find that would ship them here..

Hello I wanted to introduce myself and thank everyone for all of the wonderful information on this board. I have learned so much reading through the posts and have been very inspired by all of your tickers! I am flying from Midwest Canada and having my surgery with Dr F. Garcia. the week of May 9-13th. I was hoping there would be others that may be going that same week? I am going by myself so it would be nice to have some people to chat with over some fine broth and popsicles. lol Anyone have some essential info that they would like to part with? I am having the single incision sleeve but was wondering if I should plan on wearing a maxi dress for the flight home? Or do you think the pain would not increase in the abdomen by the waistband of some comfy pants? Any ways I cant wait! Thank you all again for your inspiring stories :0 - Any other early May sleeves in Tijuana?
