It's been one year today since I had my sleeve done. My life has changed in every aspect.
    My start weight was 333.1lbs
My weight this morning was 137.8lbs
    That's a total loss of 195.3lbs!!
    I've also lost a total of 95 inches...I'm a size 6 now...used to be a size 30.
I have accomplished this by being very focused and strict with my eating and exercise.
I eat very low carb, and always get in my Protein, Vitamins and Water every day.
For all of you just starting out, just know that anything is possible, and if you put your mind to it, you can achieve anything!!

Hi and thank you!My arms are very small, I never had very big arms to begin with. Most of my weight was around my middle, and yes, I have a very low stomach apron, the top of my thighs are a saggy mess.
People tell me they think my stomach is flat, and that's because of a good pair of panties.
So it is possible to hide it, but I would never be around anyone naked, that's for sure!!

Hi, I've lost continuously the whole year. I've never stalled. I would like to get to 133lbs to make it exactly 200lbs lost, but I think my body may be where it wants to be. I've been around this 137-140lbs now for a few weeks. But I'm still going to keep trying to get to into the low 130's

I take 2 Multivitamins with Iron, B12 500mcg, Biotin 5000mcg, calcium citrate 500mg three times a day. Make sure you get in a lot of protein...that will give you the energy you need. That's why I only still eat mostly protein, I can only eat 4oz at a time, so I'd never get in enough protein if I was eating too much other foods.
I still have a Protein Shake every morning, it gives me 30g of protein to start my day, and I've never been a Breakfast person, so at least I'm getting something in the morning.

Hi and thanks. I have major hanging skin issues on my stomach and upper thighs. No amount of exercise will ever get rid of my skin. I guess it's the price I have to pay for being well over 300lbs for so many years.
As I lost weight, I started doing more and different activities. I find changing it up keeps me motivated. I actually like going to the gym.
As far as food, I eat pretty boring...mostly just chicken and fish, so I'm not much help there. I eat less than 20g of carbs per day and always make sure I get at least 70g of Protein in daily. And I drink tons of Water, about 100oz daily.
    Good luck with everything!!

Hi, I think we all have that moment of "what the hell am I about to do??"Your relationship with food with change drastically...at least it did with me...I was a major food addict that turned to food whether I was happy or sad.
It is hard to not have food to turn to anymore, but the surgery took the hunger and cravings away from me, so that helped so much.
    Good luck with your surgery!

You look fantastic I pray that when I get my surgery that I will be as disciplined as you now did you work out a lot because your arms are so small and everyone else seemed to have those wings and your belly seems so flat looking at you in that dress or did you just not have a lot of excess skin because there are some women who don't have the excess skin

I had my gastric sleeve done January 11th. I weighed 333.1lbs.
I'm 10 months post op now and weigh 144.2lbs.
I've set new goal weights as I've gone along...first was just to get under 200lbs, then I thought I wanted my goal weight to be 180lbs. When I got there, I made the crazy goal of 150lbs never thinking I'd make it....but I did. So then I figured my goal would be 145lbs which puts me at a normal bmi...which I haven't been since I was around 10.
Now that I weight 144lbs, I've decided my final goal will 133lbs, which will mean I will have lost a total of 200lbs....and I'll do it, I know I can.
I never thought when I had surgery that weighing in the 130's would even be possible.
I've gone from wearing sizes 5-6x, and 28-30, now I wear smalls and mediums and am a size 8....I would be around a 6 if it wasn't for the large amount of skin I have around my stomach and thighs....but it's a price I'm more than happy to pay.
I've been extremely disciplined this whole 10 months. I can honestly say I've never put a bad food in my mouth...not once. I follow a very low carb diet still, drink about 85oz of Water every day and get in around 80oz of Protein. I take all my required Vitamins daily.
The gym has become a big part of my life. I workout around 5-6 days per week doing a variety of exercising....spin class, step  class, yoga, cardio machines....I like doing different things so I don't get bored.
Anyway, because I'm so close to goal, I just wanted to share this. And for the people who have a lot of weight to lose like I did....remember, you can do this! I'm living proof!!

No, unfortunately I can't afford plastic surgery. All I can say is everything between my upper thighs to my waist is a hot mess of hanging skin. It does bother me, but there's nothing I can do about it. But that's what good undergarments are for!

Hi! I've never counted calories, but try not to eat too high fat foods. My carbs are below 20g, always have at least 70g of Protein each day. I exercise a lot, around 5-6 days a week. I do a variety of exercises, which I find has helped. Hot yoga, spin classes, step classes, cardio machines...I find changing it up keeps me motivated.
But you have done so well also!! Congrats on your weight loss!!
