    Feel like a failure

I too feel like a failure! I was sleeved last March 2016, and in the first 6 months lost roughly 60 lbs. life got in the way - husband had 5 way cardiac bypass surgery. Since then my eating habits went downhill. Trying to get back on the wagon and eat sensible, no luck. I haven't been back to my surgeon or support group. Help
  2. Is there any way that I can suspend responses to go directly to my email address? I am getting roughly 25 responses per day on topics.

    March 2nd sleevers

Hello all, Nine days post op and feeling really good this morning. Had a rough day yesterday, mid morning feeling weak and tired. Took it slow, resisted the urge to take a walk, naped a couple hours - and today I feel 100% better!!! You just got to listen to your body.
  4. You look so beautiful! You must feel great also

    Soooo, I messed up

Don't beat yourself up! We have all been there! Have yourself some herbal tea, close your eyes and remember how great it felt to have good news at the scale, that should do it. Believe in yourself, and forgive yourself [emoji56]

    Empire BCBS

Be very careful of NYSHIP. I too have that insurance. With that insurance let your surgical coordinator know that not only do they have to submit approval with BCBS for the hospital stay but United healthcare for the surgeon. I had a very incompetent coordinator who would not listen to me, kept telling me "relax, everything is fine" but each time I called United healthcare they said they received nothing to cut a very long exhausting story and after showing my teeth I was approved 36 hours before my scheduled surgery! Keep up with the office, you are just another number!!!

    March 2nd sleevers

Today is day 4 after surgery. Came home yesterday. Felt good to shower and sleep in my own bed. Able to tolerate protein shakes no problem. Also had diet jello herbal tea, water and sugar free ice pops. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones.
  12. Well I did it! Had the surgery on the second. Just feeling a little sore. I guess I'm one if the lucky ones, barely any gas problems, just a little tired. Able to drink water, eat diet hello, chicken broth and sugar free Italian ice, great nursing staff!!
