i am 65 and have lost 75 ibs in 5 mo.s but slowed down now. my goal is 30 more but it slowed.

13 mo. out. down 100lbs. hungry every 90 minutes. best thing i ever did. might have saved my marriage if done earlier, maybe not.

my sugar went from 280 to 90 and take no meds of any kind.

23 days out, a lot of weakness and no stamina, got things that need doing. am I rushing it or are my carbs way too low. any thoughts would help please.

65 and paying myself after settlement. scary. tell me its worth it and encourage again please.

I want a permanent win this time. I got down twice to 220 during 2 divorces but couldn't stay. a lot of us don't even know how good we really look. livvsmum is pretty but who would know without this procedure. I hope more don't listen to the bad half of the population who run this down. to many hear of one person having a problem and forget about the 99.9 who didn't. thanks for backing me. I'm 3 days post op and so glad I made this decision.

I would suggest that you read some of the "My Story's", "Testimonials", as well as many other threads that you can. One can never have too much information.
Then ask yourself the hard questions:
1. Am I healthy now?
2. Is my weight causing my major health problems?
3. Do I want to live the rest of my days in the state of health that I'm in today?
4. Am I a good candidate for WLS?
5. Have I consulted with my God, clergy, as well as my doctor?
6. If I decide to have WLS, how will I pay for it and where will I go to have it done.(sad to have to include this question, but it is what it is)
7. Do I have family/friend support?
a. If not, am I strong enough of conviction to walk this path alone?
8. Am I ready for the life changes that WLS will dictate?
If and when you are comfortable with the answers to those questions----GO FOR IT!!!

6 foot 2 314 and this stuff scares me about like reelecting Obama. had bladder cancer s. but didn't bother me like this. march 21st date. passed last year at this time , help
