3 months post op - vitamins?

I'll give them a try again. I take capsules and the dose is 3 capsules a day so I'll take them throughout the day. Thanks!

3 months post op - vitamins?

I'm struggling with taking vitamins. They make me so nauseous and I've thrown them up several times.
  3. I took 4 weeks, but I struggled with dehydration so I came back to work this week and I've felt fantastic! I'm lucky my surgeon and my employer allowed me the time off.
  4. I haven't broadcast it, but I'm not going to lie about it because I'm not ashamed I had surgery. I honestly don't care what people think and if anyone makes derogatory comments I plan to smile and say "Wow. How rude!" And walk away. The people I have told have all been super supportive. My family and close friends all know how I've struggled my entire life with my weight and their encouragement has been amazing. However, this is just my experience and I know everyone has the right to handle the news and details of their surgery as they deem best and we all deserve to have our wishes respected.
  5. I'm 3 weeks out today and still struggling getting my fluids in, but it's better than the first week and better than last week. Everyone here has been so encouraging and it's helped so much. I think in terms of baby steps and each little accomplishment is one baby step closer to my goal.

    Nothing tastes good

I've always loved water. I used to drink 2 liters a day. Now it's a struggle to get my water in and I hate it. It's good to know this will pass. Hopefully my energy level with increase as well. I'm still so tired all the time.
  7. I'm having such a hard time. Almost 3 weeks out now and nothing, I mean nothing, tastes good to me. Anything with artificial sweetener is the worst. I'm eating because I know I have to, but even 1/4 cup feels "heavy" to me. Has anyone else had this issue?
  8. Thanks everyone for replying. I'm mildly dehydrated. It's been a huge struggle for me to get my water in. I've always been a big water drinker - 1 1/2 to 2 liters a day - but now it makes me sick. I've pushed through today and forced myself to drink 60 ounces, which I'll make sure to do every day, it so I'm slowly improving and hopefully will be fine in another day or two. So thankful for all the support I find here!
  9. I'm one week out and extremely dizzy when standing or walking. I can't do much because of the lightheadedness. It was so bad I fell night before last. I think this my body trying to adjust to fewer calories, but afraid it could be an electrolyte imbalance. Any thoughts or ideas?
  10. I just got home from the hospital a few hours ago. Gas is horrible and I'm just not hungry. Is this normal? The thought of anything other than water makes me gag.
