I've been gone a long time......
Guess what Lioness81970, ... I just found out last night that I am pregnant!!! Now I need to get on the phone with my doctors to try to find out, what I do next, I tought it was very odd , that no matter what I did, I did not loose any weight this last month. - I have a 5 yr old and she is thrilled and my husband is estatic!! I only lost 53lbs but hey, I will get back on track after the baby, right? I will find out how far I am in two weeks, but I am guessing about 4-6 weeks out.

I've been gone a long time......
I'm very happy for you... just remember things work out a for a reason. Do not even focus on the wieght gain, once you will see your baby in your arms it will be worth every pound gained. I like the names you picked out, but Isabella stands out, that name is very pretty. I'm just curious, though, have you had any other complication with your pregancy because of the band? How soon after the pregancy did you have to get an unfill? I'm just trying to get info for me, since I had been trying to get pregnant for 2 years before the band and just in case and if with this weightloss I might get lucky!

Do you swallow?
I actually only have had this band in 5 months and I have 2.8 for a 4 cc band, and I too have the same problem, I can only tolerate certain foods at certain times. The majority of the times I am over the toilet as well, some times I try my hardest to swallow, but it seems to come back up anyways. Hope you find some answers for your problem, don't think I was much help.

Personal Decision to Discuss
Cashley, I agree with you, this is a personal matter, but I understand about the nosy people. I for one only told my closest friends and family members, but they took it at their on liberty to tell their friends and aquiantances, at first it was a little humilating, since the calls started coming and some from people I did not even know knew with questions like "Did it hurt?, How much do you weigh?, Why did you go to Mexico?, When will you start:Banane40: loosing, after already loosing 15lbs? Did you try Nutri-Sytem?," and all of these other questions that I did not feel I need to answer. - but now it has been 4 months and I have lost 35lbs and I feel great. If I could do it all over again I would have told nobody and lied, but it is at your sole discretion, I just wanted to tell you what it was like for me. Hope this helps you any, just try to overlook the dumb questions people might ask you as they do not know better, especially the nosy ones -and by the way have a Happy Valentines

New Foods, New Diet.. with WLS
I hope your spirits go back up, it sounds like you are having the blues right at this moment, but don't worry you will be fine, just look at all the weight you have already lost. You are doing good, sometimes it just takes someone else to point it out to you. As far as the band and the dieting involved hey its well worth it but don't forget you can allow your self a small treat now and then so that you don't feel deprived. Hope this helps, you can pm me if you need to let steam out again or you just feel like chatting.

mexico ???
I had surgery in Mexico on Oct 21 of this year and my experiance was great. I really was a little queesy of the thought of something going wrong and being in a totally different country but I went ahead and went with it and here I am now 16lbs down, until my fill that is. My surgeon was Dr. Daniel Huacuz at the Huacuz Surgical Center - he is great.

Dr Daniel Huacuz He Is Inamed Certified
Right on, I also had my band put in by Dr. Huacuz and I feel the same way, he was very professional. It is good that you have posted this here, since there is some dissatisfied customers who have posted their comments here and tend to put a dark shadow on him. When was your band put in? I had mine put in on October 21 of this year.

1st Fill -- pain question
I have a question for GLO, do you feel any discomfort in the gym with the abdominal crunches? I was just wondering because I am so paranoid with slipping my band, I won't even lay on my side or stomach because I feel I might hurt my band. I had my band put in on the 21st of October and I will be getting a fill next week

October Bandsters Date List
Can you add me on your list? I was banded on October 21st by Dr. Huacuz in Tijuana. Have lost 8lbs already. I have a weird question , will it be safe to lay on our stomach after the stitches are out because of the port? I emailed my docter with the same question but I don't think he understood. Thanks for your help
