  1. Like every one says...Thank God for this site and all of you! I was very well prepared for most everything and had few surprises. I think the worst of anything has been the gas pains. I knew they would be there, but, well I have nothing I should write in a public forum to say, except they were, and still are the worst part of the surgery. I am lucky in that I have no pain in the incision areas. At least if I do it is masked by the gas pains. I think one of the best tips I received before surgery was RUN to the bathroom when you think you might pass gas! With all the running I wonder if I still need to walk 30 min a day - lol. No matter what....a few days of discomfort is nothing compared to the great health....and body that will come of it. I am still so excited I had it done. I did have one other problem. Apparently they gave me morphine. Never had a problem with it until this surgery. My entire body is covered in an itchy rash and I have huge open ulcers on one leg. But I know this too will clear. Again, I want to thank every one for all of their help and support. I only hope I can help some one as you helped me.
